I am Assistant Professor of Political Science at Clemson University in beautiful upstate South Carolina. I completed my Ph.D. in comparative politics and political methodology at the University of Colorado Boulder. I study comparative political behavior and political psychology in advanced industrial democracies.

My primary research focuses on the causes and consequences of collective identities, with a specialization in European Union politics. Additional interests include immigration attitudes, economic voting, and political disagreement. My work appears in The Journal of Politics, International Organization, Comparative Political Studies, European Union Politics, International Interactions, and the Journal of European Integration.
